 External Site connecting to MySQL Database |

Hello,
I have a Minecraft server hosted on another company but my webhost is hypernia (99% of my game servers are hypernia), I am trying to save stuff from my minecraft server (we are planning on a new section called 'Portal', it tracks your stats) and I was wondering how I would go about getting into the MySQL database externally? It is shared hosting. I have already done: * Added External IP * Attempted to do: myfallen.net:3306 as the host. Is this correct? Thanks, Kris. MyFallen.net Community Manager |

MyFallen.net Community Manager You will need to use the actual IP of the server and in many cases depending how the mod works it may not use your game server IP and actually uses the primary IP on the server box. I would suggest whitelisting your game server IP first and if it will not connect then ask your host for the primary IP on the server. In your cPanel control panel there are also examples on how to add wild cards if you would like to whitelist more than one IP. -------------------- Lane Eckley

So it would be Hypernia's webserver IP, because I have already added in our GameServer's IP (VPS)
